Articles of Style Releases First Ready-to-Wear Collection
A look at the brand's AW2022 essentials

Articles of Style has released its first ready-to-wear collection, teaming up with Gladson New York for their best of British fabrics. The brand, known for its online-only bespoke and made-to-measure services, has taken their best-selling designs and revamped them with F/W essentials. Every piece in the collection has been created in the USA from cloth manufactured at Huddersfield Fine Worsteds, Gladson’s internationally renowned mill in Huddersfield, England.

The collection features essential suits, shackets, outwear and more with faster delivery times (6-8 weeks) and more affordable entry-points (suits from $1,095 USD). From Savile Row to 5th Avenue, fabrics from Gladson New York are renowned around the world. In our view, it seems the perfect partnership for Articles of Style to enter into the MTO segment.
“True English fabrics have been at the forefront of menswear for hundreds of years because they have the drape and durability to take a beating over time,” says founder Dan Trepanier.

As fellow Canadians, we tend to agree. Trepanier, who was Esquire’s best-dressed man of ’09, knows a thing or two about elevating wardrobes with quality and craftsmanship. As The Style Blogger, Trepanier spent years researching, buying, and reviewing clothing from virtually every brand in the business. Frustrated with the market, he went back to school to master the menswear game from a new perspective.
In 2015, after rallying up a superstar team, he launched Articles of Style and became the only e-commerce brand to provide real fittings with real tailors. Seven years later, the latest Essentials Collection is a testament to Trepanier’s original philosophy: To help “real guys” dress with style and confidence.
