Engineered Garments SS23 Inspired by African Ankara Fabric Prints

New York-based Engineered Garments is setting the stage for SS23. The collection, inspired by African Ankara fabric prints, features vibrant patterns on cotton fabrications that merge African heritage with modernization.
At the forefront of the collection is the checkered blazer with orange, blue, and green hues along with boxy shorts. Other prints of African-inspired imagery are the multi-colored bowling shirts and the airy, unisex jumpsuits that come in soft and breathable silk.
The stand-out denim trouser-shirt combination comes layered with a loose-fitting utility gilet designed with rope-like pull strings that control the silhouette’s tightness. Last but not least is the wax-designed bags and the brand’s outerwear jackets with pockets and free-falling hoods.
