Getting into the watch game shouldn’t cost a fortune. Having recently gotten into the ring myself, I’ve found that a common misconception is that timepieces should come at a high price. While investing in some heavy-hitters is certainly on my agenda, I’m finding that the sweet-spot hangs somewhere around the $1,000 mark. From Hamilton, Longines, Oris, Tag Heuer, Timex, and Seiko, here are some of my favourite budget timepieces that assert style and character.
