Tokyo-based label Sillage has released its first drop for AW22: the Safari Collection. This season designer Nicolas Yuthanan Chalmeau found inspiration in the mechanical upkeep of classic cars, more specifically Land Rovers and Defenders, and incorporated embroidery of the vehicles in its pieces.
The collection also features a brand new silhouette from the label with its Multi-Pocket Jacket.
Outside of the new silhouette the Safari Collection consists of hats, big pocket overshirts, circular pants, hakama pants, and gilets available in white, brown, green, and black colourways. All of the embroidery was done in Fukuyama by one of the most well-established embroidery companies in the world, ensuring that the embroidered images perfectly reflect all of the details Hisayuki Hiranuma included in his illustrations.
